Piping Live! is now up and running and Glasgow continues to buzz after the successful Commonwealth Games. I have just been listening to a nice set from one of our customers, the Stuart Highlanders of Massachusetts, New England, and the P/M Adam Holdaway is convinced that the switch to our sheepskin bags was a major factor in their rise through the ranks to Grade 1. We are nearly at our own big day at Piping Live! which is on Wednesday so I thought I would send out a reminder - if you are around in Glasgow, we'd be delighted to see you.

Maybe you thought that the biggest event in Scotland this year would be the Commonwealth Games, or The Ryder Cup, or the 700th Anniversary of Bannockburn, or that "small, local" voting matter taking place in September.

 

However, it is now absolutely clear that the must-attend event of the year will be The Begg Bagpipes Marquee session on Wednesday 13th August outside the National Piping Centre, Glasgow and you are cordially invited!! With no admission charge, lots of catering and a great series of acts headlined by The Vale of Atholl Pipe Band, it promises to be a fantastic day. Running from 11.00 until 17.00 with the Vale at 14.00, I will be on hand as well with the usual witty banter and piping chat. If you have any queries, I will be more than happy to also offer free technical advice on any aspect of Piping.
